Description:
Cefoperazone Intramammary is a sterile, oil-based suspension formulated for intramammary administration in dairy cows. Cefoperazone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with a broad-spectrum activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including β-lactamase-producing strains. It is particularly effective against pathogens commonly associated with bovine mastitis, such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Escherichia coli, and other coliform bacteria.

Indications:
For the treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating and dry cows caused by cefoperazone-sensitive organisms.

Dosage & Administration:
Administer one syringe (10 g) into each affected quarter of the udder after complete milking and cleaning of the teat. Massage gently upward to distribute the formulation. Repeat once daily for 3 consecutive days or as directed by the veterinarian.

Withdrawal Period:

• Milk: 72 hours after last treatment

• Meat: 7 days after last treatment

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions:

• For intramammary use only.

• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
